Profile:
As President of Value Added Services Business unit, Pankaj Sethi leads the strategic development of new products and services at Tata Teleservices Ltd and is responsible for driving VAS revenues and profitability. Pankaj also leads the Enterprise Marketing and Solutions team.
Under his leadership, Tata Teleservices has played a pioneering role in developing innovations and solutions to meet the emergent market needs.
Among these has been a global development of Digital Music Download Service for Brew devices, a comprehensive Interactive Advertising service and a unique Mobile Internet Browser with Opera that works on handsets as low as $50 in all Indian languages.
With a keen interest in Mobile Advertising, he has played a leading role in evangelising and developing successful case studies with Coke, Parachute, Ireland Tourism and others.
He is a Director on the Asia Board of Mobile Entertainment Forum (MEF) where he plays an active role.
Pankaj brings with him a rich experience in media and content from India’s largest Film Production and Television programming companies such as Nimbus Communications (Executive Director) and Mukta Arts(CEO).
He carries a strong consumer focus, built over a decade as a marketing professional with consumer marketing companies such as Brooke Bond (Unilever), Johnson and Johnson, and Richardson Vicks Intl (P&G).
