Profile:
Kim Reid, a qualified Chartered Accountant, completed his articles at KPMG, after which he began his commercial career with Barlows, a South African Industrial Brand Management company in Hong Kong.
After Barlows, Kim joined the Gary Player Group, a business that managed and operated Gary Player’s personal financial assets and business interests, as Financial Manager.
In 1998 he joined Sony Music South Africa as Financial Director where he worked for two years.
In 2000 he joined MultiChoice Africa as the General Manager of Finance and later became the CFO. MultiChoice Africa is the largest Pay TV broadcaster in Africa.
Kim then moved to MWEB, the largest consumer ISP in Africa in 2003 as CEO. He now heads the Global Mobile TV initiative for MIH. |
